This porcelain variety is our best seller, and known for it's giant cloves! It has 4-6 cloves per bulb, a buttery flavor when raw, and a hotness that quickly dissipates. Our customers especially love to roast and caramelize the big beautiful cloves for a garlicky treat! The plants produce a heavy yield of scapes and are consistently healthy and vigorous. Our customers love the rich full flavor, long-lasting heat, and sweet aftertaste of this popular rocambole. Delicious in sauces, pesto, and curry dishes, the bulbs have 8-12 chunky copper-colored cloves. Russian Red garlic plants mature about 2 weeks earlier than our other varieties, and benefit from consistent weeding. This purple-striped variety also known as Shvelisi from the former Republic of Georgia, has 9-13 gorgeous wine-hued cloves per bulb. It's spicy when raw and extra creamy when cooked. A new addition to our garlic offerings, Ukrainian Red is a rocambole with 6 large-sized cloves per bulb, reminding one of Music garlic. Flavor-wise it presents as a mix of Music and Russian Red when raw, and is mild and velvety when cooked.
