FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between SEED GARLIC and culinary garlic?
Typically seed garlic bulbs are larger because some folks prefer planting the largest bulbs they can find. We grade our garlic crop so you can choose the size that works best for you whether you are planting it or using it in the kitchen. All of our certified organic garlic can be planted or eaten!

What varieties of garlic do you grow?
Garlic falls into 2 catagories, hardneck and softneck. We grow hardneck varieties because they grow better in our northern climate and because they produce delicious garlic scapes. There are several sub-types of hardneck garlic, and of these we grow a porcelain (Music, 4-6 cloves/bulb), a rocambole (Russian Red, 8-12 cloves/bulb), and a purple stripe (Chesnok Red, 9-13 cloves/bulb).
